The Champ rolls in the Northern Dancer.

Owned by Lloyd Madison Farms and Trained by Greg Foley, Champali is the winner of 7 of 10 lifetime starts. The Champ's latest vicotry was an impressive romp in the Northern Dancer sakes at Churchill Downs. Champali took the lead at the half and never looked back. The Champ's final time was 1:34 3/5, about 1 second off of the track record. Champali may make his next start in the $250,000 Iowa Derby on July 5th at Prarie Meadows.

Named in honor of the great Muhammad Ali, Champali is by Glitterman out of the Dixieland Band mare Radioactivity. Dixieland Band is the dam sire of 2001 Kentucky Derby winner Monarchos. Champali has 7 wins, one 2nd, and one 3rd in 10 starts and has earned $402,836.
